KSP Post 15, Columbia, KY, Activity for April, 2015 By TFC Billy Gregory, Public Affairs Officer Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY COLUMBIA, KY - During the month of April 2015, there were 18 traffic accidents investigated by the State Police working in the Post 15 area in the 11 counties of Adair, Casey, Clinton, Cumberland, Green, Marion, Metcalfe, Monroe, Russell, Taylor and Washington. There were three fatal collisions during the month of April in the Post 15 area.
Statewide fatality count stands at 191 compared with 185 through this same period in 2014. During the month of April 2015, there were 1273 citations written, 50 courtesy notices written, 1582 vehicles inspected, 664 complaints answered, 91 motorists assisted, 58 criminal cases opened and 210 criminal arrests made.
