Clyde Edward Dunbar, Green County, KY (1945-2015)

Mr. Dunbar had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Life For the Nations, Columbia, KY. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a native of Oklahoma, the son of the late Richard Edward Dunbar and Wilma Juanita Wilson Dunbar. His wife, Valarie White Dunbar, survives. He leaves 21 direct and one step living descendants.

Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Edward Dunbar will be conducted 2pmCT, Monday, May 4, 2015, at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home, 209 W Court Street, Greensburg, KY, with Bro. Marvin Janes and Bro. Cary Dunbar officiating. Visitation will be 4pm-8pmCT, Sunday, May 3, 2015, and after 7amCT, Monday at Foster-Toler-Curry Funeral Home in Greensburg, KY. There will be a committal service with Military Honors 2pmCT, Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at the Fry Cemetery in the Fry Community of Green County, KY.



Clyde Edward Dunbar, Green County, KY (1945-2015)

Mr. Clyde Edward Dunbar was born Sunday, December 2, 1945 in Vinita, Craig County, OK. He was the son of the late Richard Edward Dunbar and Wilma Juanita Wilson Dunbar. He departed this life Saturday, May 1, 2015 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, having attained the age of 69 years, four months and 29 days. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one son Paul Dunbar, two brothers and two sisters: Curtis, Warren, Juanita and Louise Dunbar. He is survived by his wife Valarie White Dunbar, and the following:
  • Two sons and daughters-in-law: Cary and Stephanie Dunbar and Craig and Corene Dunbar of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and two sons-in-law: Kimberly and Scott Montgomery of Greensburg, KY; and Meagan and Roque Habana of Dalton, Georgia

  • One step son: Gary Baxter of China

  • Nine brothers and four sisters-in-law: J. C and Cathy Dunbar, Donald and Cherie Dunbar, Richard, Larry, Alfred and Myron Dunbar and Otto and Ana Dunbar, Steve and Joy Dunbar, all of Oklahoma; and Lawrence Dunbar of North Carolina

  • Two sisters and one brother-in-law: Linda Lindsey and Rosita and Johnny Losh of Florida

  • Fifteen grandchildren

  • and two great grandchildren
