Greg worked for the Casey County Road Department. He was Kentucky’s No. 1 U.K. basketball fan. He was a native of Boyle County, KY, and a resident of Liberty, KY, at the time of his death. He was passionate in his love of animals, especially his dogs, Baby Boy and Bubby, and donations to the American Humane Society are suggested in his memory

Greg Luttrell passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at his home in Casey County, KY. He was 61.

Funeral services are 2pmCT/3pmET, Sunday, May 3, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY,m with Bro. Clifford DeHart officiating. Burial is in the Birdie Russell Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, 12pm-2pmCT/1pm-3pmCT, at the funeral home.



Greg Luttrell, 61, Casey County, KY (1954-2015)


Born Tuesday, April 6, 1954 in Boyle County, KY, he was the son of the late Bonnie June Luttrell. He died Thursday, April 30, 2015, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 61 years, 24 days.

Greg worked for the County Road Department. He was Kentucky’s No. 1 U.K. basketball fan.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his son, Rocky John Luttrell, who passed away October 12, 2007; and a special uncle, Arnold Luttrell.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two brothers: Patrick Humes of Campbellsville, KY; and Steve Meeks of Frankfort, KY

  • Two sisters: Joan Humes of Liberty, KY; and Carla Humes of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two nieces: Rachel and Chasity Weddle, both of Liberty, KY

  • A great nephew: Max Montgomery of Liberty, KY

  • And two special friends: his dogs, Baby Boy and Bubby
In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to the Humane Society in memory of Mr. Greg Luttrell.
