He was a lifelong member of Jamestown Christian Church. He had been a manager at Burdette Motor Company, Jamestown, KY. He was the son of the late Velma McFarland Holt & Marcus Holt. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Glenn Holt, 86, of Jamestown, KY passed away Tuesday April 28th, peacefully, at Commonwealth Regional Specialty Hospital, in Bowling Green, KY.

A Memorial Service will be held at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, at 10:35amCT on Saturday, May 2, 2015 with Bro. Paul Patton and Bro. Bill Welker officiating. Friends may visit after 5pmCT on Friday at the funeral home. Care and Cremation was chosen.

Glenn Holt, Russell County, KY (1929-2015)

He was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on Saturday, January 12, 1929, a son of the late Velma (McFarland) and Marcus Holt. He died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 86 years, three months, and 16 days.

He was a lifetime member of the Jamestown Christian Church. He worked as a Manager at Burdette Motor Company in Jamestown, KY. He was the husband of Peggy (Bottom) Holt.

Glenn is survived by the following:
  • A daughter: Glenna Helm of Jamestown, KY

  • Three grandsons: Christopher Goodin, Steffan Helm, and Garrett Helm

  • One great granddaughter: Erika Helm
Glenn is preceded in death by one brother, B.J. Holt; and one sister, Gladys Nickols. Memorial donations are suggested to the Childrens Church at Jamestown Christian Church.
