Timothy (Tim) Mark Sutton, Russell Co., KY (1956-2015)

He was a native of Dayton, OH, and a resident of Russell Springs, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Forrest Albert (Bob) Sutton and Hilda Mae Cross Sutton. His wife, Janie Luttrell Sutton, survives. He leaves seven direct living descendants. He was a factory worker and a member of the Liberty Tabernacle. Tim enjoyed going hunting and camping, and he loved to play the guitar.

Timothy Mark Sutton of Russell Springs, KY died Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at the University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center in Lexington, KY. He was 58.

Funeral service is 1pmCT/2pmET, Friday, May 1, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. with Bro. Morris Bryant and Bro. Greg Farmer officiating. Burial will follow in Old Contown Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 10amCT/11amET, until funeral service.



Timothy (Tim) Mark Sutton, Russell Co., KY (1956-2015)


Born Wednesday, December 12, 1956 in Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio. He was the son of the late Forrest Albert "Bob" Sutton and Hilda Mae Cross Sutton. He died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 58 years, four months, and 16 days.

He was a factory worker and a member of the Liberty Tabernacle. Tim enjoyed going hunting and camping, and he loved to play the guitar. Survivors include his beloved wife, Janie Luttrell Sutton of Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Three daughters: Jamie Rae Adams of Ohio, Stephanie Leann (Jason) Bair of Jamestown, KY; and Stacie Lorinda Sutton, also of Jamestown, KY

  • Four grandchildren: Kirsten Haste, Jessica Rowe, Kayla Melson and Jalesa Adams

  • Three brothers: Danny Sutton of Liberty, KY; Michael F. Sutton of Norfolk, VA; and Brett M. Sutton of Jamestown, KY

  • Three sisters, Patricia Parten of Opelika, Alabama, Brenda Sutton of Columbus, Ohio, and Cindy Hooten of Liberty, KY
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kimberly Holsapple. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY.
