He leaves 10 direct living descendants spanning four generations and many relatives in Adair County, KY, where he will be laid to rest

Charles Ray Carrier, age 81 years of Jeffersonville, IN passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Hosparus Inpatient Care Center. KY.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 11pmCT/12pmET at E.M. Coots' Sons Funeral Home, 120 West Maple Street, Jeffersonville, IN, with burial to follow in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, in Columbia, Adair County, KY. KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET and Wednesday from 9amCT/10amET, to service at the funeral home.



He is survived by
  • His wife: Loretta Grant Carrier of Jeffersonville, IN

  • Daughter Darlene Curry of Fairplay, KY

  • grandchild Mark Curry

  • Four great-grandchildren

  • Four great-great grandchildren

  • Son-in-law Louie Loy of Columbia, KY

  • a host of friends and loved ones
Charles was preceded in death by his father Walter Carrier; mother Callie Carrier; sister Nola Yates; brothers William Carrier, Leon Carrier, Earl Carrier.
