Icy Bloyd, Campbellsville, KY (1936-2015)

She was a native of Green County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Earvin Elmore and Susie Vance Elmore and the widow of George Bloyd, her husband of 64 years. She leaves eight direct living descendants. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, KY

Icy Bloyd, 93, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 4:30amET, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Campbellsville.

Funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET,, Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Dr. James Jones. Burial will be in in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 9am-1pmCT/10am-2pmET, at the funeral home.



Icy Bloyd, Taylor County, KY (1936-2015)

Icy Bloyd was the daughter of the late Earvin Elmore and Susie Vance Elmore. She was born September 3, 1921, in Green County, Kentucky. She died Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 93 years, seven months, and four days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to George Bloyd December 19, 1936. He preceded her in death August 22, 2005.

She is survived by the following:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Nancy and Charles Nolley of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Vincent Nolley and China Nolley of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five great-grandchildren: Crystal Richards, Kyle Tungate, Savanna Nolley, Madalyn Nolley and Wyatt Nolley

  • Many other relatives and friends
