Mr. Ernest Paul Melton, Cumberland Co., KY (1937-2015) He was a member of the Claywell United Pentecostal Church, a U. S. Marine Veteran, a Machinist for Sorenson Manufacturing and a Farmer. He was the son of the late John Frank and Ida Leitha Winchester Melton. His wife of over 54 year, Sue Anderson Melton, survives. He leaves 11 direct and three step living descendants. Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at 1pmCT, in the Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Booher Cemetery in Cumberland County, Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 4pmCT on Friday, April 10, 2015 until the funeral hour on Saturday. Mr. Ernest Paul Melton, Cumberland Co., KY (1937-2015) Mr. Ernest Paul Melton, was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on Friday, May 7, 1937, the son of John Frank and Ida Leitha Winchester Melton. He passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Cumberland River Hospital in Celina, Clay County, Tennessee, at the age of 77 years, 11 months. He was a member of the Claywell United Pentecostal Church, a U. S. Marine Veteran, a Machinist for Sorenson Manufacturing and a Farmer. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harve Melton; three infant brothers, and his brother-in-law, Dewey Young. He is survived by his wife, Sue Anderson Melton of Burkesville, Kentucky, whom he married on Friday, June 3, 1960, and the following:
