Joyce Coomer: Agrees with Billy Joe Fudge, James Roberts 1) Drivers have become too complacent. 2) She, too, bypasses the bypass By Joyce M. Coomer Personal commentary Billy Joe is correct . . . drivers have become too complacent about being aware of what is around them while cruising down the road. And, for some reason, I thought the GPS doohickeys notified drivers of intersections ahead . . . I also agree with James Roberts -- avoid the bypass when you can . . . I sure do! I've driven the length of it only twice -- once Loretta wanted to see where it went and as I hadn't yet been around it, we toured it. The other time, Greg and I were measuring the difference in the distance to our house around the bypass or to the square -- it's much closer for us to go to the square and up Jamestown Hill on our way home from Dollar General on 55. - Joyce M. Coomer This story was posted on 2015-04-06 15:49:48
