Julie Ann Jeffries Shuffett, 57, Green Co., KY (1958-2015)

Mrs. Julie Ann Jeffries Shuffett of Green County, Kentucky, daughter of Florence Judd Jeffries of Green County and the late Herbert Jeffries, was born on January 11, 1958 in Taylor County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at her home. She was 57 years, two months, and seven days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and attended the Oak Grove of the Nolynn Association Church, and was a homemaker.

Besides her mother, Julie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Ray Shuffett of Green County, with whom she united in marriage on June 23, 1974.

Other survivors include four sons and three daughters-in-law: Michael and Dianna Shuffett, Tim and Rebecca Shuffett, David and Melissa Shuffett, and Joey Shuffett and his fianc- Amanda Hoehne all of Green County; one daughter and son-in-law: Brandy and David Thompson of Greensburg; seven grandchildren: Zack Shuffett, Kaleigh Shuffett, Ben Shuffett, Caleb Shuffett, Natalie Shuffett, Zander Thompson, and Samuel Thompson all of Green County; three brothers: Chris Jeffries of Green County, Rick Jeffries of Central City, and Rodney Jeffries of Taylor County; a sister: Karen Perry of Louisville; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Shuffett was also preceded in death by a sister: Debbie Jeffries.

The funeral services for Mrs. Julie Ann Jeffries Shuffett will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Cst., Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Nolynn Association Cemetery. Bro. Eudell Stilts and Bro. Jimmie Engle will be officiating.

Visitation is requested from 4 P.M. until 8 P.M., Friday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7 A.M., Saturday until time of the funeral service.

Memorials are suggested to Hosparus of Green River or the Oak Grove of the Nolynn Association, which can be made at the funeral home.
