Stanley Rich, celebrating 90th birthday - on the job at Jeffries

2015-03-20 - Jeffries Hardware, Columbia, KY - Photo by Bryan Rich.
Stanley Rich, of the Singing Riches of Barnett's Creek in Adair County's greater Pellyton region, turns 90 today, but chose not to take the day off work at Jeffries Hardware. Mr. Rich is an accomplished musician, a longtime church leader at Barnett's Creek UMC, a hunter, a farmer, an expert University of Kentucky basketball fan, and a World War II era veteran. He is the patriarch of a large family of talented and attractive descendents, all of whom love him very much. -Christopher Rowe
