The GRAS puppies are now waddling around quite well

They are also starting to get their baby teeth in which means they will be starting on soft food soon. Which also means they will be up for adoption within the next few weeks.

By Kim Sallee

It has been really busy the last several days at the shelter, which is a great thing. Since the last update they are now waddling around quite well. There little tails start wagging when they see me coming.

They are now attempting to imitate a pit bull, attacking each other with ferocious growling and tugging of each others ears. The little butterballs really seem to think they are big and bad.

They are also starting to get their baby teeth in which means they will be starting on soft food soon. Which also means they will be up for adoption within the next few weeks.

I have honestly gotten so attached to the little guys, since I have spent pretty much 24/7 with them.

But I realize I can't keep them all and my goal of helping them survive has been accomplished. I will start taking applications for adoptions on them next week so if you are interested in any of them, please stop by the Green River Animal Shelter, 455 Appleby Road, Columbia, KY.

Our hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 10am-5pmCT and Saturdays 10am-2pmCT. Phone 270-385-9655 or 270-572-9943 after hours.

Thanks, KIM SALLEE--Director
