Remembering Elaine, by Willie Matt Feese, Jr

Remembering Elaine, by Jr. Feese
A few words to show our appreciation for Elaine.
We received the very sad news today
one of our dearest friends had passed
she was such a blessing to all she knew
especially to the Dream Depot cast.

As I sit here and think of all she has done
and all of the fun and delight,
and the joy she brought to so many who came
to the Depot on Saturday night.

She was a comedienne as we all knew
she loved to make us all smile.
The skits and songs she did will remain
in our memories for a very long while.

Whenever we think of all she has done
there's one thing we'll all have to say
no matter whatever the task at hand
she always did it her way.

The talent she had was second to none
so blessed in so many ways.
Her love of the Lord, her family and friends
stuck with her through all of her days.

A wonderful neighbor, co-worker and friend
always there to help in what needed done.
A void has been left too large to fill
now that her race has been run.

Singing, acting or just cuttin' up
you knew all her heart was in it.
A one of a kind, a dear friend indeed
Thank God for Elaine Harvey Bennett.
