She was a native of Adair County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Pearl Tiller Lawless and Robert Lawless. She was a retired custodian at the Jamestown Elementrary School. She leaves 10 direct living descendants.

Oma Christine (Teenie) Lawhorn, 89,of Jamestown, KY passed away Sunday, March 8, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Services were private. Burial is in Jamestown Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY.

Oma Christine was born in Columbia, KY on May 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Pearl(Tiller) and Robert Lawless. She died Sunday, March 8, 2015, in Russell Springs, KY, at the age of 89 years, nine months, and 11 days.

She was a retired custodian at the Jamestown Elementrary School.

She is survived by the following:
  • Two sons: Stevie(Gwen) Lawhorn and Terry Lawhorn both of Jamestown, KY

  • One sister: Bobbie Stapp of New Albany, IN

  • Three granddaughters: Kasey Gupton, Deborah Lawhorn, and Becky Luttrell

  • Five great grandchildren also survive
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charley Ray Lawhorn; two brothers, Marshall and Freddy Lawless; and four sisters, Bessie Mann, Ollie Hudson, Kathryn Weston and Opal Guffey.
