Alene F. Kelsay, 84, of Columbia, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at 9pmCT at Summit Manor Health & Rehab, Columbia, KY. Funeral service will be Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 1pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Jimmie Cox officiating. Burial will be in in Freedom Cemetery, 576 Freedom Church, Adair County, KY. Visitation after 3pmCT, Saturday, March 7, 2015.

She was born June 23, 1930, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Lucian & Mary Medaris Kimbler. She died Tuesday, March 3, 2013, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 84 years, eight months and eight days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Kelsay on March 31, 2005, and five brothers, George, Robert, Tommy, Joe & Otha Kimbler.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Jerry (Faye) Kelsay of Columbia & Bobby (Kaylene) Kelsay of Campbellsville, KY

  • Three daughters: Pauline (Charles) Robinson of Campbellsville, KY; Mary (Danny) Bush of Helenwood, TN; and Wanda (Danny) Hatcher of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: James Kimbler of Cane Valley, KY

  • Two sisters: Betty Sewell of Columbia, KY; and Virginia Coffey of Portland, KY

  • Eighteen grandchildren

  • Twenty-one great-Grandchildren

  • One great-great-grandchild
