Kim Sallee: Dog posted less than 24 hours adopted this Saturday About: (Happy Ending:) Saturday's Adoptable Dog adopted quickly, who has been adopted Saturday notes from Green River Animal Shelter Another beautiful dog at the Green River Animal Shelter was adopted today. The female border collie went to new furever home on Saturday, February 28, 2015. We were open today from 10am-2pmCT, and if this were only adoption it would have been a very fulfilling day. Thanks, everybody, especially Judge Stephens and the Adair County Fiscal Court for expanding the "retail hours" at Green River Animal Shelter. Our goal is to make it place of pride for the community. With your help we'll do just that. A note on a huge change: When an animal which appears to be someone's pet comes in, we're going to let everyone, including hopefully the pet's owner know as soon as possible. We'll be open again on Tuesday. If you are interested in any of the dogs and cats that we have at the shelter, please call 270-385-9655, and ask for Kim. Green River Animal Shelter, 455 Appleby Drive, Columbia, KY. Phone 270-385-9655. Winter hours are Tuesday, Wednesday and Fridays 10am-5pmCT. Saturdays 10am-2pmCT. - KIM SALLEE This story was posted on 2015-02-28 18:28:51
