LW basketball: Men, Women in season finale in Lebanon, TN

Both teams at Cumberland University tonight

COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's and women's basketball team face Cumberland (TN.) today Blue Raider Basketball Thursday, February, 26, 2015, with the women's game at 6pmCT and the men's following at approximately 8pmCT at the Dallas Floyd Recreation Center 1 Cumberland Drive (Campus, not venue), Lebanon, Tennessee, 37087



Blue Raider women's record, outlook tonight
On the women's side, the 16th-ranked Blue Raiders (21-7, 9-4 MSC) recently fell 67-62 to Berea (Ky.) on February 24, 2015. The team shot a season-low 27.8 percent in the loss.

Kayla Richardson scored a team-high 15 points and Chanel Roberts added 13 points. Billie Hearn and Courtney Sandlin each recorded career-highs with 16 and nine rebounds, respectively.

Roberts leads the squad with 15.3 points per game, while Richardson is nearly averaging double-figures with 9.8 points per game. Roberts also leads the Blue Raiders with 25 games scoring in double-figures.

Cumberland (14-11, 7-6 MSC) has won only one of its last three games, most recently defeating Georgetown (KY) 61-50 on February 14, 2015.

Chelsey Hall leads the Bulldogs with 16.0 points per game, and has scored at least 10 points in the last four contests. Brittany Lawson is ranked seventh in the nation with 2.04 blocks per game, and is averaging 3.5 blocks in the last two games. Lindsey Wilson lost to Cumberland 56-54 at home on Jan. 22. Roberts scored 14 points in the loss, while Hearn added 11 points.

Blue Raider men's record, outlook tonight

On the men's side, the Blue Raiders (16-12, 7-8 MSC) recently lost 82-76 to Life (Ga.) on Feb. 22. Five Blue Raiders tallied double-figures led by D'on Hall's 18 points. Tony Horne scored 13 points and Keshaun Mayfield added 12 points. Reco Lewis and Charles Sutton each had 10 points.

Julian Edmonson leads the squad with 14.5 points per game and Hall is averaging 13.3 points per game.

Cumberland (9-19, 4-11 MSC) also lost to Life 102-94 on February 20, 2015.

Josh Wilkerson leads the Bulldogs with 11.9 points per game and DeMario Frazier has 8.5 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.
