By Chris Jessie, Public Information Officer
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet

Roads across the district are being covered by frozen precipitation. Watching forecasts, we expect most of our district to experience rain through the day on Saturday. Forecasters caution that our outlook can still change/shift from current expectations.

*** This is a situation where road conditions can change very quickly and vary greatly over a short distance. ***

If you must travel overnight or Saturday morning, do so with patience and focus. Slow down. Even though pavement may look/handle as if it is wet, it could be ice just yards away.
