Mr. Amol Allen "Babe" Patterson, 80, of Greensburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford in Greensburg, KY. The funeral services for Mr. Amol Allen "Babe" Patterson will be conducted at 11amCT, Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Greasy Creek Cemetery. Dr. Gary Ervin and Jonathan Meadows will be officiating. Visitation is requested from 4pm until 8pmCT, Friday, February 13, 2015, and after 7amCT, Saturday until time of the service at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home.

Mr. Amol Allen "Babe" Patterson of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Guary H. Patterson and Bertha Alice Pruitt Patterson, was born on September 9, 1934 in Green County, Kentucky, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at the Jane Todd Crawford in Greensburg. He was 80 years, five months, and two days of age. He had made a profession of faith in Christ. Mr. Patterson spent most of his life living in the McKinney Corner Community of Green County.

Survivors include:
  • Two special nieces & caretakers: Shirley Underwood and her husband Wayne of Campbellsville, KY; and Dean Owens of Edmonton, KY

  • Other nieces and nephews: Cleston Simpson and his girlfriend, Rachel Kinslow of Greensburg, KY; Mary Ann and Junior Rhinehart of Sulphur Well, KY; Marlene and Perry Turner of Indiana; Danny and Cathy Patterson of Little Barren, KY; Elmore and Kay Simpson of Center, KY; Linda and Eugene Patterson of Metcalfe County, KY; Clark Patterson of Campbellsville, KY; and Michael and Melissa Simpson of Sulphur Well, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
Mr. Patterson was also preceded in death by a brother: Holland Patterson; and a sister: Mary Twyman Simpson. Memorials are suggested to the Greasy Creek Cemetery Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
