Billy Don Wade, Russell County, KY (1954-2015)

He was a truck driver and a member of Mt. Eden United Baptist Church. he was a native of Pulaski County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of Edward K. and Elaine Harris Wade, both of whom survive. He leaves 11 direct living descendants.

Billy Don Wade, 60, of Russell Springs, KY, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral service for Billy Don Wade will be 10amCT, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel. 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Eld. Paul Roy and Eld Larold Gosser officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, February 6, 2017, at the funeral home. Burial in the Old Friendship Cemetery.


Billly Don Wade, Russell County, KY (1954-2015)

He was born June 1, 1954 in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY He was the son of Edward K. & Elaine Harris Wade who survive. He died Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 60 years, eight months, and three days.

He was a truck driver and a member of Mt. Eden United Baptist Church.

Other survivors, besides his parents, include:
  • Four children: Donna Hammond, Columbia, KY; Michelle Burton, Louisville, KY; Bridgett Wright, Liberty, KY; and Matthew Wade, Lebanon, KY

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Three brothers: Roger (Sue) Wade, Marysville, Ohio; Terry (Becky) Wade, Jamestown, KY; and Teddy (Liz) Wade, Cynthiana, KY

  • Several neices and nephews also survive
The family requests memorials to the Billy Don Wade Memorial Fund. These can be made at the funeral home.
