Helen Louise (Taylor) Russell, Casey Co., KY (1927-2015)

She was a native of Tennessee, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Lloyd Taylor. Helen and her late husband Stanley B. Russell, raised their family in Kentucky before she moved to Florida in 1974. She leaves 25 direct living descendants.

Helen Louise (Taylor) Russell of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away on Monday, February 2, 2015. She was 87.

Funeral services are 11amCT/12pm noon ET. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY with Brent Kercherville officiating. Helen will be laid to rest beside her husband in Glenwood Cemetery in Casey County, KY. Visitation is Saturday from 9amCT/10amET, until funeral service.


Helen Louise (Taylor) Russell, Casey Co., KY (1927-2015)

Born on May 25, 1927 in Oneida, Scott Co., TN, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Lloyd Taylor. She died Monday, February 2, 2015, in West Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, FL, at the age of 87 years, eight months, and eight days.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Stanley B. Russell, who died June 6, 1971; and two brothers; Rowe Dean Taylor & Ray Clifton Taylor.

Helen and Stanley Russell raised their family in Kentucky before she moved to Florida in 1974.

Survivors include:
  • Three children: Michael Wayne (Carole) Russell, Brenda (Kenneth) Gentry, and Pamela Kay (Daniel) Schmidt

  • Eight grandchildren

  • Fourteen great-grandchildren

  • Three brothers: James V. Taylor, Harold Dwight Taylor, Ralph Taylor

  • Sister: June Lloyd Taylor Wilson
