Ruby Bjalobok, 95, Adair County, KY (1919-2015) She was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was a former seamstress. She was a US Army World War II veteran, she hosted foreign exchange students of Adair County High School for many years and was a foster parent to many children. She was also a lifelong advocate for animals. She was a native of Tyronza, Arkansas, and a resident of Columbia, KY, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Charlotte Coats Preston and the widow of John Bjalobok. She leaves two direct living descendants. She died Monday, February 2, 2015, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 95 years, four months, and 17 days. She was preceded in death by her husband; John Bjalobok and by one daughter, Rose Mary Bjalobok, in 1975. Ruby was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was a former seamstress.
