Farmer's Market 101 is the ultimate "How To" for anyone considering selling at the Farmer's Market on the Square. All the information you will need to Four classes will teach basics of Farmers Market on the Square marketingknow to become a vendor at the Farmer's Market on the Square's - 2015 Season in one easy class. Four sessions are planned for your convenience. All classes will be held in the basement of the Adair Annex, 424 Public Square, Columbia, KY

  • Monday March 2, 2015 at 10amCT
  • Monday March 16, 2015 at 5pmCT
  • Thursday April 9, 2015 at 5pmCT
We will cover association membership, updated guidelines, certifications/licenses that may be required for your product.



Information will include details about our community support programs, market events, fund raising projects and more. This class is recommended for both new and returning FM2 vendors.

FM2 is open to everyone in Kentucky from the hobby gardener with excess produce to the full time farmer. Artisans looking for an outlet for their special crafts are invited to join us. Musicians who just need to be heard will find a place with at the market.

Sell for the entire 31 week season or pick and choose your days. We invite you to come and be a part of Columbia's best shopping experience.

This is scene from last year's Saturday market, which drew record attendance and has been recognized statewide and regionally. Already, a record number of vendors are ready to sell. Barbara Armitage, founder of FM2, and market coordinator of FM2 Saturdays, and Caitlyn Helm, Tuesdays market coordinator will be holding four sessions of Farmers Market 101 for those who want to be an entrepreneur and get a jumpstart into business with proven techniques and how-to's.
