Gerald Shepherd, Adair Co., KY native (1928-2015) He was a native of Adair County, KY, the son of hte late Seathy & Gertrude Holt Shepherd. He was a Veteran of US Navy, a carpenter, and a member of Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church. His wife, iris Jordan Shepherd, Russell Springs, KY, survives. Gerald Shepherd, 85, of Russell Springs, KY, died Friday, January 23, 2015 at Audubon Norton Hospital in Louisville, KY. Funeral service for Gerald Shepherd will be 1pmCT, Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Richard Lehman officiating. Visitation will be 10am-1pmCT, Monday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Tarter Cemetery. Gerald Shepherd, Adair Co., KY native (1928-2015) He was born November 27, 1929 in Adair County, KY. He was the son of the late Seathy & Gertrude Holt Shepherd. He died Friday, January 23, 2015, at the age of 85 years, one month, and 27 days. He was a Veteran of US Navy, a carpenter, and a member of Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Griffin, Elaine Roy and two brothers, Robert Shepherd, and James Shepherd. Survivors include his wife Iris Jordan Shepherd, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
