She worked at Westlake Regional Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, gardening and spending time with her family. She leaves 26 direct living descendants. Gerald Hancock officiating Burial in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation after 2pmCT, Thursday, January 15, 2015, at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as casket bearers Charlene Hancock Taylor, Adair County, KY (1935-2015) She was born January 27, 1935, in Wayne County, KY, to the late Loren E. and Glenna (Hancock) Hancock. She died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 79 years, 11 months, and 17 days. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alex Richard Taylor on September 9, 1993; one son, Jerry Coffey on June 29, 2013; one great-granddaughter, Reagan Brock; one brother, Edgar Hancock; and two sisters, Jewell Law and Geneva Hancock. She was a member of Beulah Chapel Brethren in Christ Church. She worked at Westlake Regional Hospital for 20 years. She enjoyed reading her Bible, going to church, gardening and spending time with her family. Survivors include:
