We're hearing of black ice resulting in accidents in Green and Taylor Counties already, at 4:56amCT/5:56amET. Responders are investigating an accident on KY 70 at in front of the Elkhorn Baptist Church. Reports are just now coming in this morning.

GO - On REGULAR SCHEDULE:
  • Casey County School District:
  • Marion County Schools, Lebanon, KY
NO SCHOOL in the following districts:
  • Adair County School District No School Today because of Black Ice Probability. No reports yet, Superintendent Alan W. Reed says, but it's misting and the temperature won't get above freezing till noon. "I'm not taking any chances putting a bunch of Busses on a ice skating rink and risk accidents," he said. "We've already had a fatality accident in a neighboring county. It's precautionary, but we're taking no risks.
  • Green County School District No School today because of Black Ice.
  • Metcalfe County School District No School today due to Icy Road Conditions
  • Russell County School District No School today because of Black Ice.
  • Taylor County School District No School today because of Black Ice.
CLOSED TODAY because of weather:
  • Adair Tenco - Adair Tenco, 10170 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY will have no transportation due to black ice. Contact: 270-384-6727. - AMANDA McCLOUD
ON DELAY or SNOW SCHEDULE:
  • Campbellsville Independent School District Operating on 1 hour delay because of Black Ice.
  • Campbellsville University Dr. Frank Cheatham announced Campbellsville University will be on snow schedule this morning due to black ice. Offices will open at 9amCT/10amET. Snow schedule is at this link: www.campbellsville.edu/snow-schedule
  • Cumberland County School District: On two hour delay. - Rian Craft, transportation director.
