Delmar Pierce age 71 of Knob Lick, Kentucky died Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1pmCT, Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Butler Funeral, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4pm until 8pmCT, Wednesday, January 14, 2015, and after 9amCT, Thursday at the funeral home.



He was the son of the late Lonnie and Nina Pardue Pierce.

He was a retired plumber and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his wife Barbara Pierce of Knob Lick, KY, and the following:
  • Four sons; Rodney (Rhonda) Pierce of Knob Lick. KY; Ricky (Debbie) Pierce of Jefferson, Indiana; Jeff Pierce of Nashville, Tennessee; and Chris (Tammy) Pierce of Glasgow, KY

  • One daughter: Vickie (Rondal) Jessie of Knob Lick, KY

  • A step son: Stinson Bryant of Knob Lick, KY

  • One brother: Wayne Pierce of Indiana

  • A sister: Judy Saltsman of Indiana

  • Thirteen grandchildren

  • and three great grandchildren
