Burial in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Gosser Ridge, Russell County, KY. Pallbearers: Larry Popplewell, Travis Dixon, Kendall Hoover, Kent Klee, Waylon Frazier, and Marlin Dixon. He died Sunday, January 11, 2015 in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 81 years, four months, and 9 days. He was a Veteran of US Navy and member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church in Liberty, KY. He loved gardening, driving his truck and country music. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Kathy Lorraine Armell, Lilly May Wells(infant); a grandaughter, Shana Armell; and four brothers, Silas Wells, Sr., Arvie Wells, Arno Wells, and Milton Wells. Survivors include the following:
