JIM: A note from a transcriber of ancient penmanship

Having spent innumerable hours of my (previous) life deciphering "that purty old handwritin'" on various legal and personal documents, transcribing the note to Miss Humble was a piece of cake. One of the toughest ones I ever did was a (mercifully) brief letter written in the 1880s to my remote ancestor Joseph Roy of Pulaski Co.; another was a postcard note penned by Eld. Z.T. Williams while on his pilgrimage to the Holy Land in 1900.
