Four LWC Blue Raiders get KY USA Track & Field/KTCCCA honors By Charles Balcom LEXINGTON, KY - Four Blue Raiders were honored on Saturday at the Kentucky USA Track & Field and Kentucky Track and Cross Country Coaches Association 10th Annual Banquet. John-Paul Williamson and Dante Johnson received awards from the KTCCCA, while Ben Graham and former Blue Raider Reini Brickson were honored by Kentucky USATF. Williamson was named the 2014 KTCCCA College Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Year after qualifying for the NAIA National Championship for the third-consecutive season. He is a three-time First Team All Mid-South Conference selection and earned NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors earlier this year. Johnson was named the 2014 KTCCCA Class AAA Boys Athlete of the Year and 2014 KTCCCA Overall Track & Field Boys Athlete of the Year for his efforts as a senior at North Hardin High School last season. Graham was named the 2014 Kentucky USATF Race Walk Male Athlete of the Year. He earned NAIA All-American status in both the indoor and outdoor race walk events as well as garnering NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors last season. Brickson was named the 2014 Kentucky USATF Race Walk Female Athlete of the Year.
