Ella Fern Polston, 73, of Russell Springs, died Monday, January 5, 2015 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY. Funeral service for Ella Fern Polston will be 1pmCT, Thursday, January 8, 2015 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Elvis Tucker officiating. Visitation after 10amCT, Thursday, January 8, 2014. Burial will be in the Square Oak Cemetery.

Ella Fern Polston, 73, Russell County, KY (1941-2014)

She was born Monday, April 21, 1941 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Harlie Hugh & Lura Opal Tucker West. She died Monday, January 5, 2015, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 73 years, eight months, and 15 days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Hugh West.

Survivors include the following:
  • Her husband: Bobby Polston, Russell Springs, KY

  • Daughter: Teresa (Terry) McGowan, Russell Springs, KY

  • Grandson: Todd Dillon McGowan

  • two sisters: Jeanie Fortune, Nancy, KY; and Betty Lou Owens, Indiana

  • Two brothers: Michael Ray West and Garlin Wayne West, both of Russell Springs, KY
