Nicholas Lynn Janes, 35, Adair Co., KY (1979-2015)

He was a native of Adair County and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of Herbert & Becky Janes, who survive. His wife, Tiffany Corbin, also survives. He leaves three direct living descendants. He was a member of Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church and a former heavy equipment operator.

Nicholas Lynn Janes, 35, of Columbia, Kentucky, died Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 4:29pmCT at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at 10amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY with Bro. Larry Wisdom, Bro. Jimmie D. Cox and Bro. Rod Walley officiating. Burial will be in Tarter's Chapel Cemetery.< br>
Casket Bearers: Ricky Riddle, Russell Gibson, Tim Morgan, Carl Jones, Jeff "Spanky" Gilbert, and Bradley Hayes.

He was born April 15, 1979, in Adair County, KY. He was the son of Herbert & Becky Janes, Columbia, KY, who survive. He died Saturday, January 3, 2015, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY at the age of 35 years, eight months, and 19 days.

He was a member of Tarter's Chapel United Methodist Church and a former heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include his parents, Herbert & Becky Janes of Columbia, KY; his wife, Tiffany Corbin Janes of Columbia, KY and the following:
  • Three children: Julian, Gracelyn Ray and Jayci Lynn Elisabeth Janes all of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Sacha Powell of Columbia, KY

  • Three brothers: Jonathan, Dolphus "Doc" and Micah Janes all of Columbia, KY

  • Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Expressions of sympathy may be in the form of a donation to the Nicholas Janes Memorial Fund at First & Farmers National Bank or left at the funeral home.
