Lula Antle, Russell County, KY, Adair Co. native (1920-2014)

She was a native of Adair County, KY, a long time resident of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Pulaski County at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Edd & Susie Franklin Wheeler and the widow of Ralph Antle. She leaves four direct living descendants including her son, David Antle of Columbia, KY and daugher Edith Ernst of Somerset, KY. She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.

Lula Antle, 94, of Somerset (formerly of Russell County) died Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.

Funeral for Lula Antle will be 1pmCT. Tuesday, January 6, 2014, at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell County, KY. with Bro. Elvis Tucker officiating. Visitation will be after 11amCT, Tuesday. Burial in the Ragan Cemetery, on KY 55 S in Russell County, KY, near the Adair County line.

She was born Monday, October 25, 1920 in Columbia, KY. She was the daughter of the late Edd & Susie Franklin Wheeler. She died Thursday, January 1, 2015, inSomerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 94 years, two months, and seven days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Pine Grove Separate Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Antle and a son, Jerry Antle.

Survivors include the following:
  • Daughter: Edith Ernst, Somerset, KY

  • Son: David Antle, Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Adrienne Bynn Ernst, and David Scott Antle
