Janet Pickett, Taylor County, KY (1951-2014)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. She was a past employee of Fruit of the Loom and a retired employee of INFAC in Campbellsville. She was born in Taylor County, KY and a resident of the county at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Margaret Herron Fawcett and the late Douglas Watson. Her husband, Roger Pickett, survives. She leaves four direct living descendants.

Janet Pickett, 63, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 6:15amET, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Campbellsville.

Funeral service will be at 10amCT/11amET, Friday, January 2, 2015 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, in Campbellsville, KY. by Rev. Ron Ferree and Rev. Robert Boston. Visitation is 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US Highway 68, Campbellsville, KY.

Janet Pickett was the daughter of Margaret Herron Fawcett and the late Douglas Watson. She was born Monday, November 19, 1951, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 6:15, Wednesday, December 31, 2014, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 63 years, one month, and 12 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.

She was a past employee of Fruit of the Loom and a retired employee of INFAC in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Roger Pickett March 8, 1968.

Besides her husband, Roger Pickett, she is survived by the following:
  • One son and one daughter: Roger Scott Pickett of Louisville, KY; and Stacey Forbis and husband, Daniel, of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Konner Forbis and Kenzi Forbis of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her mother: Margaret Fawcett of Campbellsville, KY

  • One brother and one sister: Norman Douglas Watson and Lisa Kaye Tucker and husband, Tony of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • Any other relatives and friends.
Expressions of sympathy should be donations to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and be made at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.
