He was a member of a large, well known family. He was the son of the late Bill Maynard and Coria (Voils) Maynard. He leaves 21 direct living descendants.

Charles (Charlie) Maynard, 85, Jett Drive, Jackson, KY, died Sunday, December 28, 2014, at 2pmET, at the Nim Henson Geriatric Center in Jackson, KY.

A memorial service will be held at H.E.Pruitt Memory Chapel, Jamestown, KY, at 1pmCT, Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Care and Cremation was chosen.


Charles (Charlie) Maynard, 85, Russell County, KY (1929-2014)

He was born June 16, 1929. He was the son of the late Bill Maynard and Cordia (Voils) Maynard. He died Sunday, December 28, 2014, in Jackson, Breathitt County, KY, at the age of 85 years, six months, and 12 days.

He was a laborer.

He is survived by the following:
  • Three daughters: Charlene Smith, Henderson, KY; Tina Austin, Russell Springs, KY; and Vicki Maynard, Louisville, KY

  • One sister: Thelma Maynard, Louisville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Nine great grandchildren

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
Expressions of sympathy are requested to the Charlie Maynard Funeral Fund and may be made at the H.E. Pruitt Funeral Chapel.
