Marjory Joan Roark, 79, of Russell Springs, died Monday, December 22, 2014 at her Home.

Funeral service for Marjory Roark will be 11amCT, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel. 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. David Harmon officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Friday, December 26, 2014. Burial will be in the Fariview Cemetery.

Marjory Roark, 79, Russell Co., KY (1935-2014)

She was born Wednesday, October 2, 1935 in Cuzzart, Preston County, WV. She was the daughter of the late Roy Everett & Opal Mae Sypholt Peaslee. She died Monday, December 22, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 79 years, two months, and 20 days.

She was a hairdresser and a member of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Diane Pafford; a sister, Lila Jean Sisler and three brothers, Lloyd, Donald, and Paul Peaslee.

Survivors include her husband Charles "Pete" Roark, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Four children: Teresa Kaye (Gary) Harmon, Russell Springs, KY; Kimberly Jean (Jerry) Burchett, Russell Springs, KY; Cerina Jean (Mike) Young, Wilmore, KY; and Vicki Lynn (Lynn) Tudor, Richmond, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Four great grandchildren

  • One great great grandchild

  • One sister: Roxie Sowers, Maryland

  • One brother: John K. Peaslee, WV
