John William McGuire, 52, of Jamestown, KY, died Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home.

Memorial service for John William McGuire will be 12pm noon CT, Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Bethesda Community Fellowship Church, 3109 South Highway 127 Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Billy Dunbar officiating. Visitation after 10amCT, Saturday at the church.

John William McGuire, 52, Russell Co., KY (1962-2014)

He was born Tuesday, September 11, 1962 in Greensburg, Decatur County, Indiana. He was the son of the late Richard & Shirley Ann Phegley McGuire. He died Monday, December 22, 2014 in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 52 years, three month, and 11 days.

He was a truck driver and was a member of Bethesda Community Fellowship Church.

Survivors include his wife, Shannon Johnson McGuire, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • Four children: John Earl McGuire, Wedstport, IN; Jarod Alan McGuire, Batavia, Ohio; Rebekah Nicole McGuire, Jamestown, KY; and Jonah Cole McGuire, Jamestown, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Carrington and Jeremy McGuire

  • Three sisters: Regina Owens, Russell Springs, KY; Jennifer Harrell, Seymour, IN; and Cynthia Cline, North Vernon, IN

  • One brother: Richard A. McGuire, Westport, IN

  • Several neices and nephews
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the John McGuire Memorial Fund. These can be made at the funeral home or Bethesda Community Fellowship Church.
