D. C. Foley, 80, of Nicholasville, KY formerly of Jamestown, KY died on Fri. Dec. 19, 2014 at his residence.

Funeral Services for D. C. Foley will be Monday, December 22, 2014 6:00pm at the H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY, with Pastor John Gillispie and Bro. Bodie Emerson officiating. Friends may visit after 3pmCT on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be Tuesday 12:30pmCT/1:30pmET, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, 6980 Danville Road, Nicholasville, KY

D. C. was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on Friday, February 2, 1934. He was a son of the late Hattie (Barnes) and Eldora Foley. He died Friday, December 19, 2014, in Nicholasville, Jessamine County, KY, at the age of 80 years, 10 months, and 17 days.

He was in the U. S. Marines and a plumber.

He was the husband of Judy (Chapman) Foley.

Mr. Foley is survived by the following:
  • His daughter: Renissa McLaughin of Waynesville, NC

  • His son: Daniel C. Foley of Nicholasville, KY

  • Two sisters: Marie Ballenger and Mary June Emerson of Russell Springs, KY

  • Five grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, J. E. and A. G. Foley, and two sisters, Lillian Heathman and Geraldine Ballenger.
