He was the son of the late Roy and Bessie Pardue Saltsman. His wife, Robin Saltsman, survives. He leaves 15 direct living descendants. He was of the Methodist faith and retired from GM Corvette Plant and was a US Army Veteran.

Larry Dale Saltsman age 66 of Edmonton, KY, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at his home.

Funeral services will be held 2pmCT, Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Butler Funeral Home, 201 East Street, Edmonton, KY, with burial in the Metcalfe County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, December 13, 2014, and after 9amCT, Sunday at the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Roy and Bessie Pardue Saltsman. He was of the Methodist faith and retired from GM Corvette Plant and US Army Veteran.

He is survived by his wife Robin Saltsman of Edmonton, KY, and the following:
  • Two sons: Camron and wife Shelly Saltman of Edmonton, KY; and Peter and wife Rose Saltsman of Edmonton, KY

  • One daughter: Anne Saltsman and Gary of Edmonton, KY

  • Seven brothers: Oliver Saltsman of Glasgow, KY; Wallace Saltsman of Knob Lick, KY; Ronnie (Sheila) Saltsman of Glasgow, KY; Daryl Saltsman of California; Randell Saltsman of Glasgow, KY; Keith (Tammy) Saltsman of Edmonton, KY; Murrell Saltsman of Cave City, KY

  • Three sisters: Shirley Jean Shirley and husband Junior of Edmonton. KY; Lisa Garmon and husband Tommy of Knob Lick, KY; and Marlene Glass and husband Bobby of Glasgow, KY

  • A sister-in-law Carolyn Saltsman Fields of Hodgenville, KY

  • And his mother in law Martha Gilpin Jessee of Edmonton, KY

  • Twelve grandchildren.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Roger Saltsman and his father in law Richie Gilpin.
