Ruth Ann Bottom Antle, 76, Russell Springs, KY (1938-2014) Mrs. Antle was a member of Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church. She was an educator having taught Art education at Russell County High School for many years. Upon retiring, she became a professional artist and a published author. She was a graduate of both Lindsey Wilson and Western Kentucky University. She attended Hindman Settlement School and the Savannah College of Art and Design to further her education. She was an avid reader, animal lover, and flower gardener. Funeral service for Ruth Ann Antle will be 10amCT, Thursday, December 11, 2014 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Steve Wheeler and Bro. Jim Kingry officiating. Visitation will be after 5pmCT, Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Burial in the Ragan Cemetery. Special Music by JoNell Selby. Ruth Ann Antle, 76, Russell County, KY (1938-2014) She was born November 25, 1938 in Princeton, IN to the late Oacar & Lydia Hadley Bottom. She died Monday, December 8, 2014, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 76 years, 13 days. Mrs. Antle was a member of Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church. She was an educator having taught Art education at Russell County High School for many years. Upon retiring, she became a professional artist and a published author.
