Larry Smith Thompson, 67, of Russell Springs, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at his home.

Graveside service for Larry Darwin Thompson will be 12 Noon, Wednesday. December 10, 2014 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, 5817 Fort Campbell Boulevard, Hopkinsville, Ky with full military honors.


Larry Smith, 67, Russell County, KY (1947-2014)

He was born Thursday, March 19, 1947 in Hopkins County, KY. He was the son of the late James Richard & Nancy Love Messamore Thompson. He died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at his home in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 67 years, eight months, and 17 days.

He was a pipeline inspector and a Veteran of US Army.

Survivors include the following:
  • Three children: Aleisha Evans, Versailles, KY; Tamara Skipworth, Nicholasville, KY; and Larry A. Thompson, VA

  • Seven grandchildren

  • Sister: Loretta Joyce Simpson-Bush, Cerulean, KY
