Helen Wilson, 71, Russell Co., KY(1943-2014

She was a custodian at Russell County High School for many years and a member of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Jesse & Eva Mae Wilson Bradshaw. Her husband, Phillip Wilson, survives. She leaves 48 direct living descendants.

Helen Wilson, 71, of Jamestown, died Saturday, December 6, 2014 at her home.

Funeral service for Helen Wilson will be 10amCT, Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. David Harmon officiating. Visitation will be 5pmCT, Monday, December 8, 2014, at Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, and after 9amCT, Tuesday at the church. Burial in the New Friendship Cemetery.

She was born September 3, 1943 in Russell County, KY. She was he daughter of the late Jesse & Eva Mae Wilson Bradshaw. She died Saturday, December 6, 2014, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 71 years, three months, and three days.

She was a custodian at Russell County High School for many years and a member of Clear Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Phillip Wilson, Jamestown, KY, and the following:
  • Three sons: Elvis C. Bray, Jr.; Brian Neal Bray, and Richard Scott Bray, all of Jamestown, KY

  • Twenty-five grandchildren

  • Twenty great grandchildren

  • Sister: Carol Coe, Liberty, KY

  • Two brothers: J. D. (Mildred) Bradshaw, Russell Springs, KY; and Norman (Sandy) Bradshaw, Jamestown, KY

  • Brother-in-law: Petie Bray, Russell Springs, KY
The family requests memorials to Helen Wilson Memorial Fund. These can be made at the funeral home or church.
