Charlie Wheeler and wife, Mary, and son, Steve, moved to Columbia in the late 1960s. He had operated a county store on 704 near the present site of Hadley's Church, later operated by Gilbert and Inis Harvey Smith.

In retirement, Mr. Wheeler operated a small shop on Campbellsville Street, left hand side as you exit the Square. I would like to know if anyone remembers the carved busts on the table and if they are still around Adair County. Interesting artifacts.
