LWC Women's Soccer jumps to No. 3 in latest NAIA Top 25 Poll LWC Women's Soccer now owns the longest consecutive streak - 159 mentions - in the Top 25 of any team in the NAIA By Tyler Scott News from Lindsey Wilson College COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's soccer team moved up one spot to No. 3 in the latest NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Sunday, November 16, 2014. Lindsey Wilson is receiving 552 voting points from the panel of national raters. The Blue Raiders currently own the longest active streak of consecutive appearances in the Top 25 with 159 mentions, including a string of 129 straight top 10 rankings. Lindsey Wilson (13-3-3) is coming off a 5-1 victory over Cumberland (TN) in the Mid-South Conference Tournament championship game. It was the team's 13th MSC Tournament championship and the second straight. Embry-Riddle (FL) remains the No. 1 team in the poll receiving 591 voting points and 21 first-place votes. Concordia (OR) moved up to No. 2 with 570 voting points. Westmont (CA) and Mobile (AL) rounded out the top five with 528 voting points and 514 voting points, respectively. Lindsey Wilson now awaits their fate in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round. Pairings for the opening round will be announced on Monday, November 17 at 1pmCT.
