News from the ADAIR Band

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Sun 16 Nov 2014: 8:37amCT) - Adair County can be extraordinarily proud! These kids are awesome and they will be headed south, home to Adair County, in a little over one-half hour.

They will be departing Indianapolis at 9:30amCT-ish and will arrive in Columbia at around 2pmCT with the bands 3rd BoA National Championship - and the first in 7 years. ADAIR has now won national championships in 2005, 2007, and this year, 2014.

We've been told there will be a major escort meeting the Champions on Campbellsville Road to to bring them onto the Columbia Public Square. We'll post the exact route from there to Adair County High School as soon as it is learned. We're hoping a large crowd will greet the ADAIR Band this afternoon. The kids really deserve it. -Shamarie Claiborne
