Shamarie Claibornes takes six state KSBA/KSPRA awards Adair County Public Schools Public Relations Coordinator. She was also recently elected to Kentucky School Public Relations Association (KSPRA) board of directors in a day of firsts, of new triumphs, for the Adair Couny School District Click on headline for full story with photo(s) Special ColumbiaMagazine.com story Competing for the first time, Shamarie Claiborne, Public Relations Coordinator for the Adair County School District, swept six awards at the KSBA/KSPRA banquet at Embassy Suites in Lexington, KY. She was also elected to the Kentucy School Public Relations Association Board of Directors at the meeting. Claiborne won Distringuished - First Prize, for Miscellaneous Pubic Awareness Programs/Products Refocus-School and Children/ Our real purpose. Kentucky School Boards Asociation/Kentucky School Public Relations Association. The prize recognized the photography displays in the Adair County School Board's Board Conference Room in the lower level of the Central Office, 1204 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. Credit for the work was shared with Supt. Alan Reed, Patty Jones, Rena Smith, and Ruth Redmon. Claiborne won Proficient Awards, second place, in five categories:
