Sarah Sullivan Thomas on top American moot court team

Rising law student has Metcalfe, Cumberland County, KY ties

Sarah Beth Sullivan Thomas, a senior at Florida Coastal Law School in Jacksonville, Florida has special ties here in Metcalfe County. She is the daughter of the late Tim Sullivan of Edmonton (and Burkesville) and the daughter of Tami Branham (Dennis) of Burkesville. Sarah is the granddaughter of Marguerite Sullivan of Edmonton, KY.



She is now serving as president of the Student Bar Association and is pictured on the cover of brochures and booklets sent to potential students throughout the nation.

Florida Coastal Law's Moot Court of which she participated has been ranked #1 the second year in a row. Its students won 7 national moot court competitions last year and 14 in the last two years, the most for any graduating class in the history of American law schools. Sarah has won two of those National Championships since being at Coastal and has been invited to compete in the moot court national championship, with the top 16 teams in the country in January in Houston.

Sarah is a graduate of Cumberland Co. High School, the University of Louisville and will graduate in 2015 from Florida Coastal. Last year, she was 3rd runner up in the Mrs. Florida pageant. She is married to Kurt Thomas of Vine Grove, Kentucky.
