Benefit for the Grants drew 250 to Beech Grove SBC fundraiser

Held Sat, 9 Nov 2014, at Wheet Hall, Columbia First Church of the Nazarene, to benefit Curtis and Mary Grant

By Anita Vanarsdale

We appreciate so much everyone who came out to support this fundraiser Sat 4 Nov 2014, for Curtis & Mary Grant. We are estimating that we had 250+ people there!

We had a very successful night because the Lord has blessed us with a wonderful community that is so willing to help in time of need.

I know Curtis and Mary were blessed. We would appreciate your continued prayers for Curtis as he continues on the road to recovery.

We cannot begin to express our thanks to everyone who donated items for our auction, items for the soup/bean dinner, donations of monetary gifts and for purchasing items at the auction. We would like to thank Columbia Nazarene Church for use of their fellowship hall, Dale Hayes and Bradley Karnes for doing the auctioneering, and a special thank you to Master Four for another great night of gospel singing.

We would also like to thank the media - Columbiamagazine.com, Adair Progress, Community Voice, WAIN and WAVE radio for helping us to publicize the event.
