By Matthew Stokes News from Lindsey Wilson College BARBOURVILLE, KY - The Lindsey Wilson women's swimming team competed in a dual meet at Union (KY) on Saturday, November 8, 2014, facing the host as well as Campbellsville (KY). The Blue Raiders edged Campbellsville, 134-105, but lost to Union by a final of 140-93. In all, Lindsey Wilson claimed five national 'A' and 'B' standards. Competing in the 200-yard medley relay as the Blue Raiders' 'A' team, Elena Nikolaeva, Courtney Fleeger, Laura Stephenson and Kelsey Marshall combined to earn a national 'A' cut with their finishing time of 1:55.70. Fleeger added a national 'B' standard of her own in the 200-yard freestyle as she raced a 2:04.11. Stephenson secured a national 'A' cut with a 2:10.89 finish in the 200-yard butterfly, good enough for an individual win. Further on down the line during the meet, Fleeger finished the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:39.45 to lock down a national 'B' standard. To wrap up Lindsey Wilson's national cut-qualifying times for the day, Stephenson won the 200-yard IM with a finish of 2:15.51 to secure a national 'A' standard.
