FM2 producer now planning crops for 2014 Click on headline for story with photo(s) By Barbara Armitage, Market Coordinator Farmers Market on the Square I need your help to decide on what to grow in the garden at Tucker's Station Farms for the 2015 Season of the Farmer's Market on the Square! I have been sitting here in front of my computer for days - ordering seeds for next year's garden - it's hard to make decisions when I'm tempted by so many delicious looking vegetables. In the past I've always said that I won't grow what I don't like to eat, just in case I can't sell it and it turns into dinner. This year I thought that it would be great to expand my horizons with some ideas from my friends. I can't promise that I will be able to fulfill every request - if I get lots of ideas maybe we could vote on the top 3 or something but I'm open to suggestions. Let me know what kind of veggies or herbs you'd like to have at the Farmer's Market on the Square. Is there something new you'd like to try or maybe an old favorite you haven't been able to find at the market? In case you need some inspiration here's a link to Johnny's Seed, one of my favorite gardening sites: www.johnnyseeds.com. I love to try new things so use your imagination! For information on becoming a Farmer’s Market on the Square vendor contact Barbara Armitage, Saturday Market Coordinator, at 270-250-2979 or Tuckers.Sation@gmail.com or Caitlin Helm, Tuesday Market Coordinator at 270-378-0576 or cahelm2011@gmail.com.
